  13. My favourite presentation was the one presented by Maelle about "The Canadian National Vimy Memorial" located in Vimy in France made in 1925. I really liked the fact that there is a maple leaf on the top of one of the tower, and on the other there is a fleur-de-lis that symbolises the unity between the two countries (France and Canada)

  15. My favourite memorial was the Florian's memorial. This is not a famous painting, which is located in a church in a small village in Germany, that's why I like it: it's in a small place but represents a lot of things, from a German point of view, somebody who lived the World War II, and knew what Germans did, but still wanted to pay a tribute to them.

  17. My favourite presentation was the "monument to the women of World War II" presented by Axelle. I like the originality of this one: a bronze monument with uniforms symbolising the job that women undertook in World war II. Furthermore, I like the fact that it's a tribute to all the women who participated in the war effort and who should not be ignored.

  18. My favorite presentation was Marina's presentation about the "Canberra War Memorial". I liked this monument because it's very beautiful and the walls by the side look like we're in a palace or in a castle. Moreover, all the flowers and the bushes around the little swimming pool give more beauty to the memorial.

  19. My favorite memorial was the vietnam veterans memorial, presented by Salma and Téa. I like this memorial because the wall is as long as people who died and we can realise that a lot of people helped during the war including women. Moreover I find intersting to be able to see our reflexion behind the names, this symbolizes that it could be us

  22. My favourite memorial was the "monument to the women of World War II" presented by Axelle. I really like this memorial because for me, it's important to honor those women even if they didn't fight because they were the main parts of the Homefront.

  27. My favourite presentation was florian's presentation. It was very interesting, his topic was a little painting from a germany church. Florian made a gripping critical analysis of his memorial and his own interpretation was very riveting.

  29. The presentation of Axelle, the "Monument to the Women of WW2" was my favourite memorial because it is the only memorial that I know which honours women, the majority of the others memorials just honour soldiers, but women also contributed to the victory.

  30. My favourite memorial was "Canada Memorial" presented by Océane because I found it very intresting. I mean I liked the "architecture" because when you see it, you can't really know that it's a memorial. The form is very different. And for me the water represents the souls of Candian who died and when you pass between the two "parts" of the memorial it's like you returned during a few seconds during the War.

  31. My favorite memorial was florian's which was a mural painting to German soldiers in WW2. It was very interesting to see a mural that is not famous so we discovered it and florian made a very good presentation and gave us his opinion which was very good

  32. My favorite presentation was the mural painting to German soldiers in WW2 presented by Florian because, in my opinion, even if German soldiers did horrible things to the Jewish community, they deserve to be remembered as well as French soldiers because they lived the same atrocities during war and French soldiers did horrible things, too, to this community. I also liked Florian's personal interpretation of the painting. It was very interesting.
